The Guardian Crosswords

The Guardian has a daily Cryptic Crossword (Monday to Saturday), with the Saturday puzzles being prize crosswords. There is also a daily Quick Crossword.

All the Guardian crosswords are available - free - online, in interactive and printable formats on the Guardian Crosswords website. There is also an extensive archive of crosswords dating back to 1999.

The website also provides a weekly Quiptic Crossword (a simple cryptic designed for novices) and a monthly Genius Crossword (tough cryptic) with a £100 prize for the winner.

The Guardian crossword editor is Hugh Stephenson. He writes a monthly Crossword Editor's Column online.
